- Alida Alfa Budke, 80, of Broen Memorial Home and formerly of Friberg Township died Saturday, Aug. 22, at Lake Region Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Tonseth Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Christensen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
One of 10 children of Anton and Anna (Heim) Gilbertson, she was born April 24, 1907, in Montevideo. At the age of 10, she moved with her family to Noonan, N.D.
On Dec. 9, 1925, she married Henry Budke in Noonan. The couple moved to Otter Tail County, settling in Friberg Township. They lived there until seven months ago, when
they moved to the Broen Memorial Home.
She was a member of Tonseth Lutheran Church and its ALCW.
There will be a public prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Olson Funeral Home.
