- Marlene Kritsky, 72, Chubbuck, passed away, Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born June 3, 1943 at Velva, North Dakota to Lloyd and Olive Melom Johnson in the middle of a snow storm. Marlene was raised on her family farm in Ruso, ND. She married Delane Kritsky on November 29, 1963. She graduated from Butte High School and attended Minot State College and Idaho State University. Marlene retired from the telephone company after 25 years of service. She enjoyed antique shopping, collecting bells, bridge clubs, singing, playing piano, and traveling with her husband (China, Australia, Brazil, Norway, England, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, and Mexico.) She especially enjoyed spoiling her 2 grandchildren. She was a committed member of Faith Lutheran Church, Pocatello, where she served as pianist for many years. She was a PEO member, ISU Womens Group member and volunteered at PRMC as the gift shop manager. She also volunteered at the Faith Lutheran Church Food Pantry. She is survived by her husband, Delane; son, Douglas of Pocatello; daughter, Wendy Wilton (Peter) of Oakmont, PA; two grandchildren, Lucas and Olivia Wilton; siblings, Marlys Sundbakken, Loretta Martinsen, Doreen Schatz, Eleanor Berg, Wayne Johnson, and Glenn Johnson, all of North Dakota, She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Milfred Johnson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 2pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, 232-0542. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the funeral home Wednesday. Interment and memorial service will be held in Butte, North Dakota.
