- Mary Olson, 77, Minot, ND, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020, at her residence.
Mary was born April 4, 1942, the daughter of James and Blanche (Wilson) Finke, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Donnybrook, ND, graduating from Donnybrook High School in 1960.
She was a devoted mother of two children, who worked in the insurance industry.
Mary married James J. Olson May 22, 1981. They made their home in Minot.
Jim passed away May 22, 2000. She continued to live in Minot where she worked at Ridddles Jewelry.
Mary was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Minot, ND.
She enjoyed gardening.
Surviving family includes:
children, Deborah Sunde, Minot, ND and Ron (Corinne) Christopherson, Minot, Step-children, Mary Judy (Bob) Evanson, Scottsdale, AZ and Harry Olson, Phoenix, AZ; 9grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye (Wayne) Jensen, Rugby, ND, Joyce Pearson, Minot, Margie (Roger) Emens, Idaho; brother-in-law, Tom Pearson, Donnybrook; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Olson and an infant sister, Elizabeth.
