- OBITUARY
CONRAD - VERZUH
Ruth Alice (nee Stordahl) Verzuh, 68, died Monday, October 25, 1982 in a Conrad Hospital. Her funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Great Falls, with the Reverend Steve Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Great Falls, with Wyse Funeral Home, Conrad, handling the arrangements.
Ruth was born at Hendrum, Minnesota, and came to Great Falls with her parents, Joseph P. and the late Mathilda Marie (nee Rustvold) Stordahl, at a young age.
After attending Great Falls schools, she and Al Verzuh were married in 1931 at Great Falls. They moved to Conrad in 1951 where they owned and operated Al's Plumbing and Heating. Mrs. Verzuh was the office manager for the business until her retirement in 1978.
Her husband survives with two daughters, Diane Frohlicher, Hudson, Wisconsin, and Marilyn Foltz, Helena; her father, Joseph P. Stordahl, Fairfield, four sisters, Helen Guenther, Redding, California; Olive Mae Glover, Great Falls; Cora Crossman and Delores Rosin, Both of Helena; and two brothers, Maynard Stordahl, Helena, and William Stordahl, Santa Maria, California.
