Sigvard Daniel Vog, 54, of Puget Island, died Sept. 3 in a local hospital. He was born May 24, 1908, in Puget Island.
He lived on Puget Island all his life, was a commercial fisherman , and a member of Sons of Norway Lodge. He attended Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, Ruth, at home; a daughter, Mary B., at home; two sons, Ronald H. at home, and Donald S. of Longview; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Satter of New Jersey City, NJ, Mrs. Ruth Crews of Long Beach, CA, and Mrs. Agnes Prentiss of Portland; four brothers, Hans of Clackamas, OR, Vernie of Long Beach, CA, and Irving and Olaf of Portland; and 2 grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2 pm at Dowling Chapel, Cathlamet, with Rev. Edwin Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cathlamet.
