- Mrs. Jennie Bertina Fowler was born in Centreville, South Dakota, on April 9th, 1897, and passed away very suddenly in Camrose on Monday, June 9th. She came to Camrose in 1911 with her mother and father, Martha and Lars Loveseth, and her four brothers, Enoch, John, Alvin and Grant, to build and establish the Loveseth place, four miles north of Camrose.
She married Elwin Fowler at Clear Lake, Iowa, on Feb. 5, 1916, and to this union was born three sons; Leroy, of Calgary; Lars, of Edmonton; and Dean, of Pigeon Lake.
The late Mrs. Fowler spent sixteen active years operating a beauty parlor business in Camrose, and was a charter member of the Harmony Club, being its first President. She was an active member of the Order of the Royal Purple.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her loving husband; her three sons; five grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Martha Loveseth of Cowichan Station, B.C.; and four brothers, Enoch of Edmonton, John of Saskatoon, Alvin of Cobble Hill, B.C., and Grant of Cowichan Station, B.C. She was predeceased by her father in 1935.
Blessed be her memory.
