WILLISTON, N.D. - Arthur Lund, 92, of Williston, died on Tuesday, evening, Feb. 27, 2007, at the Bethel Lutheran Home in Williston. Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Williston. Pastor Mike Molland will officiate and interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Arthur Ivan Lund was born on July 19, 1914 to Martin and Rachel (Haugen) Lund at rural Stady, N.D. He was raised and educated in rural Stady.
Art was united in marriage on Dec. 26, 1958 to Kathaleen Raulston in Sidney, Mont. The couple farmed and ranched in rural Stady. Kathaleen passed away in 1991. Art moved to Minneapolis for several years to be close to his family. He returned to Williston and lived at the Kensington for several years before entering the Bethel home where he has been a resident since.
Art is survived by his son, Darrall Lund of Williston, N.D.; daughters Debbie (Brad) Johnson of New Richmond, Wis., and Connie (Jeff) Fish of Bethel, Minn.; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; brothers Cliff Lund of Williston, and Lloyd Lund of Richland, Wash.; and sisters Edna (Jim) Larson of Geraldine, Mont., and Gladys Barrington of Bullhead City, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Kathaleen; and son Terry; brothers Herbert, Arnold, and Edwin; sister Marion; and two infant siblings.
Friends may call at the Fulkerson Funeral Home in Williston from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007 and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
