1869 and died in Kent on Nov. 20, 1938.
According to his Washington State death record, Eilert was the son of Lars Johnson and Johanna Eliason. His wife was named Anna.

"Funeral Services For Eilert L. Birklid To Be Held Here Friday
Funeral services for Eilert L. Birklid, age 69, of 620 Fifth avenue south, will
be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the chapel of the Kent Funeral
Home.
Mr. Birklid, a retired farmer, died at his home Sunday night. For the past two
years he has made his home in Kent. For two years previous to moving to Kent he
resided in the East Hill district, coming from North dakota four years ago.
He was born February 21, 1869 in Norway.
Burial will be made in the Kent cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Anna Birklid; two daughters, Miss Imogene Birklid
of Kent and Mrs. J. H. snyder of Saskatchewan, Canada; four brothers, E. B.
Birklid of Kent, Jacob L. Birklid of Lisbon, North Dakota, and two brothers in
Norway; and by four sisters in Norway."
