Bison--Funeral services for Dan Jay Doody, 36, who died Wednesday morning at a Rochester, Minn hospital, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday morning at the Presbyterian Church in Bison with the Rev. William Knickel officiating.
Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery with Graveside rites at approximately 2:30 p.m. The services will be conducted by the Evanson Funeral Home of Lemmon.
Doody was born Jan. 7, 1932 at Belle Fourche and graduated fro Belle Fourche High School. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated from Colorado State University at fort Collins.
Doody was area representative for the Farmers Home Administration and lived in Bison. He was a former supervisor with the Soil Conservation Service in Wyoming and for a time operated a feed business in Glendive, Mont.
Doody is survived by his widow, Donna; two daughters, Colleen and Janice; a sister, Mrs. Ann Marie Spencer of Casper, Wyo., and a brother, Victor Doody of Rapid City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
