Funeral services for Marine Pfc. Rolf John Sagdahl, 21, who was killed in Korea April 10, 1951, will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday in the Wiggen & Sons funeral home.
Private Sagdahl was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Sagdahl, 9043 1th Av, N.W.
He also is survived by a brother, Lloyd.
Private Sagdahl was graduated from Ballard High School in June, 1948, and joined the Marines the next month. He went to training camp August 10, 1950, and went to Korea shortly thereafter.
Private Sagdahl was a wellknown singer in his high school days. He was a soloist with the First Lutheran Church choir and appeared in high school plays and musicals.
Private First Class Sagdahl was a member of Company H, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action during the relief of the 1st Cavalry Division and the attack on Hongchon as a part of "Operation Ripper" in North Korea on April 10, 1951.
